I was talking about the "digital back for film cameras" depicted in that image. In other words, the Silicon Film fraud which was around since the early DSLRs.
The idea surfaced from time to time, investors paid their money and then... silence.
So it's not squeezing a digital camera into a film sized body; but squeezing a digital camera into an actual film body. Well, the sensor at least - with a "battery grip" containing the electronics and power supply.

I'm not sure that's what he had in mind, but if e.g. you have space for only 1 memory module and its maximum size is 512MB...
