That was shot on a K20D at ISO 800, so it had some noise to clean up. These newer bodies can shoot at ISO 1600 easily so a smaller aperture shouldn't be a problem. I've shot it at f11 and f16 without any noticeable diffraction showing up. I have an M*300 I shoot also. The Tokina's not quite as good and the colors are different. Price you found is good.

I have had both with no complaints. Had the manual focus 1st and shot with it several years. Finally found the AF version and sold the manual one.
It's a well built lens, easy to focus, AF is pretty accurate. Wide open it will PF in a heart beat, stop it down helps.
Sharpness is Fair and can be easily sharpened in post. Colors are classic Tokina, a little cool.
