Following on from this:
From the same 'bunch' of flowers. Gotta love nature, isn't it amazing what a bit of sunshine can do? :)
Straight from the sensor, no PP except a resize and jpeg conversion.
And thank you Richard and Mel. Great tips, I'll try them out soon!

S-M-C 50mm f/1.4 @ f/4:
I really, really do love what this lens produces beyond f/4.

At a guess, could you tell me how far away you were from the butterfly when you took the shot?
I plan on doing some macro with my 200mm + tubes when the weather suits and a couple tips would be much appreciated.

Hello there, I'm new to the forum (although I've been reading with interest for a couple months) so thought I'd post some pics with the Tak' lenses I've acquired over the last few weeks.
S-M-C 50mm f/1.4 various stops but all below f/4:

All on a Canon EOS 20D with af confirm adapter.
