I was hoping Santa would bring me a KEH E+ 645 A 35mm lens this Christmas, but it was not to be. They seem to be one of the most valued of the commonly available lenses and cost about twice what I paid for my 645N body.
I am playing with (and enjoying too) the 6x7 cameras from Pentax, since the totally obsolete glass is a good bit cheaper than the 645A counterparts. The lenses are amazing. Think Takumar look and feel on a GIANT scale. If you're shooting wide and want a really amazing negative, the 6x7 Pentax is hard to beat, if you can get your hands on a well maintained body.
