How many of us shoot our medium format with lenses in the range of 90-100mm handheld? I think quite a few and these lenses are more telephoto than a wide angle 90mm on a 4x5. Plus it has a practically vibration-free leaf shutter lens!

I have negatives my grandparents shot on a Kodak folder that shot postcard format (3.5 x 5.5 inches) all handheld back in the 1930's.

WTF, is this a sunny 16 rule test? I shoot BW film without a light meter all the time. No light meter on these shots and on one I captured the actual diameter of the sun as apposed to a ball of glow. How many stops do you think that is? It's a hell of a lot. I wouldn't shoot your scene exactly the same with that camera. I'd cut out the extreme near ground. It doesn't have front tilt to get the needed DOF. So your handhold shots will be constrained to shooting in the 1/125-1/500 shutters and the rest dependent on the film ISO and ambient light. What is funny I was going to build something similar to this to use my Schneider 90/8 on it for a portable, handhold 4x5. But this thing looks even smaller than what I could come up with. ---------- Post added 05-18-14 at 10:43 ----------
Again, you are clueless. Did you actually take any photos with your 4x5s or did you just collect and sell the gear?

What planet are you from? Trying to handhold a camera not designed for handhold is pretty daft. One has to wonder if you are just talking out your....

And that is the voice of experience talking? You can shoot a 4x5 handhold. People have been doing for years with a Speed Graphics and a once common press camera.
