Some very nice shots but 'The Kiss' - wow, that's a cracker.

Superb bridge shot there, I love it. Must try some long exposures soon!

I tried a panorama with the 15mm on Sunday. Now I'm really tempted to sell the Sigma 10-20mm :D
But.... I really need to learn to leave more cropping room and take more shots than I think I need for the pano :o:o |

Lovely shots of Venice there d3zzz, especially like the clothes lines and the last one. I've got myself a slightly better copy of this lens, the edges could still be a little bit sharper I feel, but it's such a pleasure to use and as Frogfish says, the colours are lovely and there's a freshness and vibrancy to the images it takes. I can see me taking just this and the F35-70mm on holiday, and being adequately covered for most things, without needing to lug a big camera bag about. I love small lenses, a camera is just much nicer to carry when it doesn't tug on the strap with every step.

I'm another person who has succumbed. Beautiful lens, and I can see that special 'pop' and sharpness on my initial images, although border softness/CA is sooo bad I have sent my copy back to exchange for another. I'm really looking forward to be able to carry my kit around in my jacket pockets rather than dragging a bag around. The DA15mm + F35-70mm (sadly I can't afford any more limiteds!) should make a nice flexible set up to shoot most things.
If it makes you feel any better, a couple of times shooting with the DA15 I've wished for the DA21mm focal length instead. I had the DA21mm briefly a few months back, and found myself wishing for the DA15mm. You can't win, and LBA never ends!

Somehow I don't think your missus would buy that excuse! Better to tell her it's an old second hand lens from ebay ;)

This thread is making me sick with LBA. I would love this lens but already have the 10-20, and when I zoom from 15 to 10mm on the sigma, the difference is massive! Nevertheless the small size and iq of the DA15 really appeals. Maybe I could let my Tamron 17-50 go (i have the 18-55 kit lens) and keep the 10-20 alongside the 15mm?

Do the starbursts ever get old? I like them with some subjects (like the sun) but not others. I do hanker after this lens though....!
