So many spectacular shots here. I am enjoying them all.
Today I ordered a Sigma 8-16mm. I want just a few more degrees of field of vision. Really need it for some architecture coming up. I cannot afford to have the 10-20mm as well so I'll be selling it soon. Shold have my 8-16mm tomorrow! Sweet!
For now, here is another from vacation a few weeks ago at:
Camera Pentax K-5
Exposure 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture f/4.0
Focal Length 10 mm

Thanks! I tried using Photoshop's puppet warp tool to add in the heart. First time using it. It was actually my son's idea in a sort of way. He suggested I add in smiley face but I wanted something that people would wonder if it was real or not. The heart seemed to fit that idea so I went for it. Literally took 5 minutes to shape the heart with puppet warp and it almost looks really natural! It was a fun project.
I use this lens A LOT. It is always with me.

I don't do anything to deal with lens distortion on this Sigma. Call me silly, I like the distortion and don't mind at all. It is to the point where I see the Sigma 10mm and Pentax Fisheye as pretty normal
Awesome shots!

I don't want to stray too far from this fantastic thread dedicated to the mighty Sigma 10-20mm, but I use Photomatix Pro. Load my RAWs right into Photomatix and tone map the image that is usually from 5 exposures. I then tweak the tone mapped HDR with ACR and then PS. I have never used Topaz to LucisArt, yet.
Thanks man, but there are MANY MANY great HDR guys out there. I am only one a many and IMHO, there are others that are way better than mine.
So, to keep on lens topic, here is where I work at 10mm, ISO100, f/8.0 in the heat of this past July:
And deep in the bowels of work, also at 10mm @ ISO100, f/8.0: |

Thanks all. I sincerely appreciate the feedback.
I find these places by doing a lot of research and just trying to see things differently. HDR can help make the must mundane things look interesting.
I went out today for more HDR Urbex and decided to take the 10-20mm off and give it a break.
That lasted for about 10 minutes. This lens is just perfect for HDR. The detail of the lens, is simply amazing, even with 9 exposures used to get this one with the longest being 30 seconds.

Here is another HDR with this excellent lens @ 10mm, ISO100, and a 0.0 EV of 8.0s. This lens is just perfect for tight spaces:
I just love me some abandoned, decaying and all around URBEX.

Good for some pseudo-macro too. Yeah, I know I got some serious CA still there in this one... This at ISO100 and 14mm: |

I wanted to try something different for this past weekend's walk through Boston. Did not take off the 10-20mm the whole 5 hours or so.

Thanks for the feedback. Nope, no regretting the purchase in the least
Can't wait to see what you shot at that event. Looking very forward to it.
Here is something I haven't tried with the lens yet until last night. Very low light, just that one candle on some "still life"...sort of :p This item re-surfaced in our basement after the recent basement flood a couple weeks ago  Forgot we even had one.
ISO100, 10mm, and it's widest aperture (should have went smaller to get the fore front more in focus but I think this works): |

All mine are done using HDR. Done with 5 different exposures and blended into one to get the full dynamic range and then I added some vibrancy. I like the hyper-real effect of HDR and will not aplologize for it ;) IMO, this is the way the world should look :D
OK, I lied that wasn't my last one for the day, this is:
