I bought the 24/2.8 K and found it to be so similar to the 28mm in focal length I didnt think it was worth while, and kept the 28/2.8 instead. I also use a 35/2.8 and find it significantly different to the 28. Yet in theory, the step from 35->28 is 0.8, and the step from 28->24 is 0.85. Not very different. My guess is that the K 24/2.8 is not really a 24, either that or the 28 is a tad wider. What about something a little wider, like the Tamron SP 17? On digital, its not so wide.
