I stopped into the Maritime Museum of San Diego for short visit this afternoon. All shot with a K7.
First up, the DA40, the periscope in the USS Dolphin.
Next, the DA21, the periscope in the Russian B-39 submarine.
Last, again with the DA21, the bow of the steam yacht Medea, converted to black & white in iPhoto. |

I don't think I've put anything in this thread in a while - here are few from a walk around Old Town San Diego on 10/31. All with the K-7, all shot as jpg, all are straight from the camera, just sized down in iPhoto for export and upload to my SmugMug galleries.
First, the DA40.
Next, the DA15.
Finally, the DA21. |

Here's one more with the DA40, this time on the K20D. Emerald Lake, Yoho National Park, Canada.
Did I mention I really like this lens?

I really like the DA40. Mine now pretty much lives on a K2000 as a casual camera for times when I don't want to carry a lot. If I'm going out specifically to take photos with the K20D it always comes along too. It's a pretty versatile lens; these are all from the K2000/DA40 combo.
Riding the miniature train in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. You can't beat the focusing speed. This combo is a great point & shoot (OK, so it's a bit big, but at least it has a real viewfinder).

The 21, 40 and 70 have become pretty much my favorite lenses (well, except maybe for the 10-17 Fisheye, but that's completely different). Since this thread started with a cat picture I'll continue the theme.
First, with the DA21.
Next, with the DA40.
Finally, with the DA70. |
