Spent some time at our local zoo yesterday with my Olympus E-M10 and Oly 40-150MM II lens. So light to carry.

Recently acquired a Panasonic 12-32mm f3.5/5.6 lens to go along with my Oly E-M10. The Oly 14-42mm "R" lens the camera came with was fine, but I like the smaller size of this lens and the zoom lock on the 14-42 was a pain.
Took it for a trial run to an abandoned grain elevator. Post-processed with ACR and NIK HDR Efex Pro

Thought I'd try using some non-native lenses on my Oly E-M 10. First, a Meyer Optik Trioplan 100mm and second, a Helios 44-2 58mm, both mounted using a cheap M42 - m4/3 adapter.

Thought I'd practice a bit before the Super Moon arrives tomorrow. Russian MC 3M-5CA mirror lens mounted on my E-M10 using a cheap M42-M4/3 converter. 500mm / f8 / 1/60 sec / ISO 200. Tripod mounted and shot through a window. Post-processed with Nik software to enhance sharpness. Hoping for continued clear sky.

Took a hike today at Whirlpool State Park, Niagara Falls, NY and headed down the gorge to the whirlpool area with my Oly E-M10. I'm getting more familiar using the camera, especially the Super Control Panel and EVF. This purchase was made with carrying a lighter load on my hikes and it hasn't disappointed.
Thought I'd share a few images of this beautiful Fall day. The hike back up had me huffing & puffing but worth every step.
RAW / Adobe DNG converter / ACR / PSE 9
Lastly, can anyone tell me why the Adobe DNG converter is creating such looong file names and how I can correct this. The .ORF file numbers in camera are much, much smaller. My ACR in PSE 9 doesn't work with .orf (Oly raw files). Appreciate the help.

I've been intrigued by mirrorless cameras and recently purchased an Olympus E-M10 m4/3 with the 14-40 and 40-150 stock lenses. I love the compactness and light weight - some days I just don't want to carry around my K5 and lenses. The EVF is very different for me and I'm still getting used to it.
Anyways, here's a shot from today's hike.
