You can always find good FA* 85 f1.4 lenses on ebay from reliable Japanese sellers. They are not cheap.

I like many things about the K-1 but perhaps most I like having wider fields of vieew.

Perhaps this has already been pointed out but the question assumes something which is not true of many of us. Many of us did not switch we just added the K-1 to our kit and continue to shoot with the K-3ii or other crop lens camera. It makes a nice combination for different situations.

I also tend to use my smaller bodies more but when I use the K-1 I am always very happy I have it. Part of that is the FF lenses but the camera itself is just a joy to operate.

Since I still have my K-3ii I guess I have not actually switched so much as expanded my set of tools. If i just had the K-1 I think I would still be very pleased. But having the smaller camera makes the whole thing comfortable.

Yes and when they are that close to the K-1 they will want to stroke it's loveliness!

I am happy about the switch although it was not so much a switch as an addition since I still have my K-3ii. The K-1 is just a joy to use. The only reason I still use the K-3ii is it is smaller and lighter when hiking which is important to me at 73 and where I do my hiking which is in the Arizona desert all year long. But I often find myself missing the conveniences of the K-1 on the hikes. Maybe the K-3ii replacement will incorporate K-1 features. I have not purchased a KP because I very much appreciate the built in GPS of the K_3ii and K-1 for tagging pictures.
