Ha.. ha...
These alien siphon tubes are named 'Super trees' and part of the 'Gardens by the Bay' over here.
Totally ironic to me as they don't look like trees to me and the gardens is a man made contraption of steel and concrete (eliminating natural habitat in its place)
But, its what it was planned to be.
Ostentatious, modern and grand looking for the city planners and bean counters.
And the photographer ..... :D

Just a few seconds later, no more sun burst...

Yeah, I was visiting Japan.
I live in Singapore, a place where a good use of land is to build on it :D
Hell, even parks can't be left alone for more than a few years here and it has to be 'improved' on every now and then by building more facilities and pavements..... :hmm:

Yeah, I think you are right.
Lots of cityscape opportunities abound over here.
Sadly there is little natural stuff to balance off.
But the grass always looks greener on the other side and we won't know what we miss till me miss it. :)
Thanks Matt.

It seems like you can just get out the door and take these.
I envy that a lot.
Can't find much nature here where I am.

I think the DA15ltd lived on my K30 during my recent trip to Japan.
I left the Q7 to do street photography and long reach work.

Of course 2020, how else you'd think I got the picture of the fully battle ready Gundam. :D
I zipped back to 2013 just before the Kaiju pulled Tokyo Tower and smashed it over Ultraman's head.. ouch!
:D
(They are vying for the 2020 Olympics)
