That's one reason I'm glad the hood on my 35mm 2.8 macro is integrated. I have enough trouble keeping track of the hoods for all my lenses
:o

No, but just think about all the "eye-popping" going on when you tell your friends what you paid for it:cool: And the listing does say to make an offer;) I'd say 10 bucks just to get the ball rolling. Seriously...

I have been busy for about a year, so I'll sum this up. During this time I have sold all my lenses, acquired new lenses, sold lenses, Gave my K20 to my grandson and bought a K-3. I now have 4 lenses- Tamron 90mm SP Di macro, Sigma 70-300 mm Macro @300 APO, Sigma HSM 18-50mm 1:2.8-4.5, and a Pentax 35mm 1:2.8 Macro limited. The desktop computer has a 1tb hard drive and I took out the 8gb of ram and stuffed 32 gbs of ram back in (now it's at full capacity) Of course I had to have new speakers and a 27" monitor to go with my 19" monitor. W.ell, that's what I've been up to in the last year.

It's almost like we've been holding our breath all these years and finally, looking at your K-1 with a Pentax 200 on it brings us to a new reality that opens photography for the Pentax users to a whole new set of doors. Very NIce!

I just (last year) switched/added from/to my k1000 to a k10d and now you tell me that SLR's are becoming extinct?! Holy Moly! The next thing you'll tell me that rock'n'roll is dead. I'm tellin ya, it's those Republicans (or Democrats, doesn't make much difference) that're doing all this:mad:

A while back, I acquired a Pentax A 35-105mm 1:3.5(constant) and I'm cheap(but not that fast); does that count?:hmm: I also acquired (i love that word:cool:) an Asanuma (not to be confused with "as-sault and without the A contacts) 35-105mm 1:3.5(constant) with a close-focus focus ring in addition to the focus focus ring. It actually was cheap because I got it in a bundle (42 bucks) along with my Tamron-F 2x tele-converter KR MC4 with the A contacts and a Pentax ME Super. I only wanted the 2x but was pleasantly surprised by the Asazooma lens.:D
I feel sorry about your headache Rio. Take(Buy) 2 lenses and call me in the morning:lol:

...to me anyway:lol: Here's most of my latest "stuff". I also have an $8.25- SMC M 50mm 1:2 :) coming(for my ME super to fill up that big hole right in the middle of it!:D The $8.25 includes the $7.00 shipping fee! A buck an a quarter! I couldn't resist.
The bogen + the 27" case + The manfrotto 3025 head + the manfrotto quick release adapter + the bogen 3029( I sold it already!) +The ME winder for my ME super + the book "Camera Raw" by Jon Canfield, this is very down to earth written and he includes Elements and Cs5 in his teachings. I highly recommend it even if you're not a beginner but if you are a beginner you must find this book! It's that good! + the SMC A 50mm 1:1.4, and the PENTAX Magnifier Eyecup O-ME53. Boy, I sure have lot of shooting and testing to do:cool:!

I'm glad you posted your new acquisitions. I didn't know that there was a DA 35mm macro lens and that 21mm would seriously look great on a K10D (mine)!:D

a little shopping lately.:);):p:D:lol:

1/ a "Sima" brand quick release adapter for my home-made macro focusing rail.
2/ An 8GB class 10 fujifilm sdhc card.
3/ A Tamron F series 2x tele adapter with the "A" lens contacts.
4/ Along with the 2x came an ME Super in good condition AND an Asanuma 35-105mm f3.5 (constant) with a separate "close-up" (or macro like-1:4) focus ring in K mount. This lens is quite a bit like my Pentax A 35-105mm
f3.5 constant aperture lens but I'm not sure how it will compare to the photo quality of the Pentax;)
5/ The scales that the lens sits on so that I can weigh stuff to sell stuff to get more stuff:D
6/ The Bogen 3025 tripod head AND a Manfrotto RC2 quick release adapter.
7/A Pentax off-camera hot shoe F. I have several f5p cords and the shoe mount hot shoe Fs so I had to have at least one with the tripod mount hole in it. Didn't I?
8/ 2 A76 batteries for the ME Super
9/ A roll of Ektar 100 for the ME Super.
10/ A double male 67mm to 72mm adapter ring so I can reverse the Asanuma on the front of the Pentax 35-105 to see what that does for me in my macro shooting.:)
11/ A new adjustable flash shoe mount for my Stroboframe quickflip
and a 5w led headlamp to use when I'm in the dark:confused:

Oh yeah, number 12 is on the way. It's a Tamron Velocity 9x sling bag:cool:

whew!
The photo of our puppy, Cosmo, and the flower pic were shot with the Asanuma. More on that later and in a different thread, possibly in the "lens reviews".

I bought a Chinon CM-5 with a 50mm 1:9 lens at the Goodwill store that was seperated because they couldn't get the lens to mount on the camera. The problem was that Chinons have the K mount and some fool stuck an Asahi Pentax chrome looking thingie in the hole to make it use some screw mount lens or something like that. It was an easy fix to get it out so I could use the lens, so it ended up being a good deal for $3.00 IMHO

I submit to your wisdom about the Irish/Scots. I learn from these forums every time I log in!
Butttt, A lens like that would be great for a football game! It's focal distance is so long that I'd be able to read the opposing team quarterback's mind!
