I am not a native English speaker and it took me a considerable amount of effort to write the response I gave. Perhaps I was not clear enough but you clearly are not interested in the merits of the discussion. Why is that?

Sure, but that is also because with almost everybody having a smartphone more people are taking casual pictures. And those casual picture snappers will be at full display on those tourist locations. These are people documenting parts of there life and sharing them. Those smartphones may have sarurated that market to some extend.
But there are also people like many here on this forum that don't wait until a fleeting moment in our lives presents itself to be photographed. There are and will alway's be those that have the drive to create something just because we enjoy the process and occasionally the outcome. For that group a dedicated camera does provide a service that is much harder to replace with a smartphone.
The fact that these day's there are people being paid to do video and photo's with a smartphone is a reflection of a society that values images more to tell a story than it used to be. It mimics the proliferation of the importance images have in our daily live. Professional story tellers are often being pressed into using smarthones with a crash course in how to make accaptable images to cater for that need and there are examples where it actually makes sense to use a smartphone over a bigger camera. But that does not result in making dedicated video camera's and camera's for stills obselete. Instead the amount of different options avalaible for and being used by professionals is really staggering including the humble smartphone.
The world isn't as black and white as you see it and the market for those that take pictures is not a zero-sum game.
