We didn't use to be, but yeah...we're pretty rare these days. Pentax isn't even carried at my local camera store and I'm one of only about 3 people who use Pentax in my camera club out of a membership of 130 or so.

You could always just change the subject to digital medium format and ask them what Canikon has to offer in that. :)

We're kinda rare around this neck of the woods. We had a visitor to our camera club this week who was shooting with a K7. Our membership folks put him in touch with me because I'm about the last Pentax guy left. He was complaining about Pentax not being carried in the local stores anymore. :(

We're pretty rare. I even had a salesman at one camera store tell me that Pentax doesn't make digital cameras. :hmm:
