I haven't been here in a long time (photography has taken a backseat to other life stuff going on), but I received this camera and lens from a close friend earlier this year. They belonged to her father, who passed away a couple of years ago. She knew I loved film cameras, so she packed up the camera and lens (still with the original case) and sent them to me.
My friend unexpectedly passed away this October from a sudden return of cancer. :( I have this sitting on my bookcase and I'm determined to take it out shooting soon to honor her thoughtful gift.

Thanks, everyone! So far I've really enjoyed the KM - took a few photos yesterday. I'll give it a good home, Colton! :)
I'll have to look around for some K lenses. Right now I have all Takumar M42 mounts - 55/1.8, 50/1.4, 35/3.5, and 135/3.5. I'd like a 28mm I think.

Here's my latest (bought from forum member Colton (thanks, Colton!):

I bought a K to M42 adapter so that's my Super Takumar 55/1.8 attached. The camera is in really nice shape and I'm looking forward to using it! :) I learned photography on a K1000 and my other film camera is a Spotmatic SPII so it feels very familiar.
