A sampling for each category, from our Alaska trip. Well, no automobiles.... Just the fun categories
- a portion of our floatplane, a DeHavilland Beaver, over the Misty Fjord National Monument
- a rotary snowplow formerly used on the White Pass & Yukon Route
- a pair of WP&YR diesels taking us back to Skagway
- our cruise ship, the Golden Princess, as our floatplane returned to Ketchikan
Mix of K-30 and Oly ZX-1 shots

Interesting. Some sort of emergency response vehicle , mobile lab, something like that. Anyone know what the door insignia/label says? The license plate would imply it's some kind of a visiting (official, commercial, scientific) person or group.

Got a couple of good pics from today. Forced myself to go enjoy some sun and haul the camera along while the wife was getting her hair done :)
This one could be improved if I really wanted to go in and clone out hte power lines crossing the tree, but I'm lazy and I gottat get some sleep before I go diving tomorrow!

Oh, very nice! I have fond memories of being taken for a ride in an MG Midget waaaaaaaay back when I was in high school. One of the waitresses at the restaurant I was cooking for had one, and we took it down to Seattle to go see Van Halen on their first tour. Great little car, and a fun evening!
Your restoration looks mighty fine! Wish I could help ya with the sale (it sure would be fun....).

Just a quick snapshot of the new hometown :) Gig Harbor, Washington. Sadly, this is *not* the view from our house, but is from the waterfront (we're up in the woods). But, it has plenty of boats and looks pretty :) I like the 12-24 lens a lot, it's just hard to get my work up to the glass' potential...
This is a straight from camera JPG, no work done on it except resized to 800x532 in Irfanview. K100D w/ 12-24 & no filters.

Here's a plane landing on the plains :)
Here's a train speeding across the plains :)
And a nicely restored automobile with nothing to rhyme it with
