I agree with others that said there is no "best". I recently got a Epson 3800 because I needed to print 3-500 prints and it worked out the Epson was more economical than sending out. Free printer for me! :D
If I could afford a 24" or 44" I would have got the HP Z3200, but the Epson 3800 prints ridiculously well and 17x37 is big enough for me. I've had a few Canons, and Epson's including a 2200 before this one. I prefer the Epson's I've had to the Canons, but the higher end Canons are pretty sweet. Gotta say though, I've never had more accurate color than the prints from the 3800, they are nearly identical to the soft proof in every way.
