Yes way to good to be bare, I was using a shooting one sb910 through an umbrella nothing fancy. No camera flash as control, I use the Phottix Odin system (in manual mode) to control the lighting :) The rest of it is just light from the golden hour ;)

Thanks Mark, all with the 180mm 2.8D (had off-camera lighting on the first 3 shots) , I really like that lens, its the kind of lens that always delivers and never lets you down ;)
At the moment im with a 4 prime setup. Was thinking of adding a 35mm soon , there also a rumor of a FF 35mm 1.8G to come out soon so might wait and see whats that like before I pull any triggers.

Went for a big ride this morning had a blast, then this arvo went to the tracks behind my place and got this "selfie" using the focus trap feature on the D700 :D

Thanks mate, try it with the grip ;) the grip never comes of mine and with the EN-EL4 battery it shots 8-9 FPS just like the D3.

Have a look at the 18-35G , ive heard its really good. Lighter and cheaper than the 14-24 plus the 18-35 focal length is more suited as a walk around then the 14-24.
