That is SO WILD LOOKING fractal! I have to play with that technique!
We just got back from a trip to Montana, where my Tamron 70-200 2.8 came in very handy! I'll be processing shots for, like, ever - but here are a few early ones :) (my growing gallery of Montana shots is here at SmugMug - I'll be adding to it daily for a while)

Baby mountain goat, Glacier, up at Logan Pass
We were scolded by so many different species of squirrel, I had to bug them with the camera as some kind of payback :D

Gorgeous fractal! - I love that slight desaturation!
I like the color tones here - kind of 'light and airy' just like the subject :)
I was privileged to shoot my first wedding as a back-up type shooter this past weekend, for which the Tamron 70-200 2.8 was invaluable. I could not have done the shoot without it. I had a monopod for it, but I think next time I'll shoot entirely hand-held and just deal with the wrist fatigue. The monopod kept me in one place a bit more than I would have liked - and since we were in a field I could have walked a bit! Still, got some awesome shots with it :) |
