Thanks for the advices, guys. Given the somehow high price of a second hand D700 and considering it's 3 years technologically behind the new FF bodies I think I will either go with the D600 or D800...tough decision.

Guys - I'm thinking of getting the D800 however I still see second hand D700 mainly selling at $1,500 while the D600 goes for $2,100 brand new. My question is the D700 that good hence its price doesn't devaluate that much or you think it will go down close to $1,000 price range soon?

I made that move 3 months ago and really enjoying FF at a cheap price. If you ever made the move, make sure to buy only the 5D's with serial numbers starting with a 2 or even better with a 3. The earlier versions have issues with back LCD.

5D MarkI are going for peanuts these days. I got mine for $700 a month ago. The guy was dumping it to buy the MarkIII.
