Thanks, Alan. I have several Soligor (28mm, 35mm and 135mm) and this 100mm macro is the one I love the most. The build quality is average but the IQ of the macro is top notch. This 100mm is very rare, I don't see it at all on the net.
Here is how it looks like. Did I say that it's HUGE? :)
Fully extended + 1:1 adapter. The CZJ Flektogon looks like a baby next to it :D

Soligor 100/f2.8 Macro 1:1 (with extension) M42
This lens is heavy but produces pretty decent macro shots. All shots taken with K100D @ f16 + SB24

Looks more like a bazooka to me :) Hope you have strong arms and neck or a good tripod.
Seriously, I'm amazed by the build of those old lenses.

Took it out today with my K100D and I'm impressed! A bit soft wide open but becomes really nice beyond f2
