I especially like the shot of the tiger looking toward the camera. FWIW, the parrot is a Rainbow Lorikeet, native to Australia. :)

Thank you! I dearly wish that I switched from my 3rd user mode to the 1st one which uses the centre cross, but this one worked out really well! Glad to get the male and female together.

No worries. It might be in the advanced options? I never tried that to be honest. Fifth from the right in the format bar.

Great shots of the Superb Fairywrens, including the male who is half-way between breeding and eclipse plumage. They are very hard to catch!

I've seen very similar nests belonging to Robins. I don't think I've seen a Wagtail nest, but I should look harder - I've seen plenty of Wagtails haranguing large birds which get too close. ---------- Post added 06-12-23 at 05:11 PM ----------
Well done! I haven't seen a Blue-banded bee for ages. The PLM is definitely quicker to focus. :) It looks like it's feeding on Lantana?

Great shots! I've only ever seen one once, in the distance, near Carnarvon Gorge. I certainly never got the chance to take a photo that I recall. ---------- Post added 17-11-23 at 10:10 AM ----------
It looks superficially like a Roadrunner, but is much more like a Turkey, being a metre tall! :) ---------- Post added 17-11-23 at 10:11 AM ----------
Happy birthday! Great photos of a variety of waterfowl! :) ---------- Post added 17-11-23 at 10:14 AM ----------
Well done! I think I first saw one near Charters Towers. Possibly also in the vicinity of Emerald. :)

Nice! I don't think I've ever got that close to an Osprey in Oz. I did get some photos of one in Japan which was fishing koi out of a famous garden.

Beautiful! The telephoto lens really isolates the subject. ---------- Post added 15-06-23 at 01:07 PM ----------
Impressive sharpness for such a low shutter speed! Well done!

Thank you! Luckily, he was close. I only cropped the image to 16x9 and resized. :)

Great shot! It's hard to get so close, but males are usually more bold than females. Most likely an adult male in eclipse plumage I think, but could be wrong.

Thanks! He certainly did fly off not long after this shot, but I think at this point he was bowing to his ladyfriend whose head is OOF at the bottom of the frame.
