Hey Magica, great story. Like you I'm having trouble finding the GR in the Netherlands. Care to share the German store you used? I'm thinking of downgrading my kit going back to my old and trusted K20D which has been in use by my daughter for the last year or so and getting rid of the K-5. I still love its form factor, it just seems to fit in my hands a bit better than the K-5 does and with a shutter count of almost 50K clicks it is hard to sell anyway.
I'll need a high-ISO powerhouse to fill in the gaps left by the K20D and the GR seems to fit the bill. The K20D doesn't leave much on the table at ISO100 landscape which is 90% of my shooting. The sale of my K-5 will go someway towards paying for the GR.
