About 8 minutes actually for the TIF one, not counting creation of the EXR file (which takes a lot longer but I ended up not using it)

Delete it of course. I'm just trying to learn how to deal with this - call it temporarily bored.

Recently I have acquired a neat pano-ballhead with clickstops as well as some other bits 'n bobs. It is absolutely great fun playing around and attempting to stitch these things together. I use Hugin of course, a very powerful pano editor and (important to me) fully cross-platform and open source.
This one is the reult of 3 rows and 4 columns of bracketed triple exposures - a total of 36 individual image files resulting in 14782X7391 pixels (a whopping 109 megapixel). Sharpness of the image in even the smallest details is excellent (see 100% crops of 1280x960 pixels).
The amount of work is huge, Hugin is huffing and puffing away for some 35 minutes and my poor laptop is creaking under the strain... CMG20003-Pano-Tilthead-ISO80-CMG20041-Pano-Tilthead-ISO80_fused-fb360-2016-web by Mike Bing, on Flickr |
