Got a call from Michael of CRK confirming my entry to the K-1 launch party, then I called DCW regarding my pre-order, was told my order will be arriving 17/06/2016! So I promptly cancelled the order and will just buy it at the launch party...Michael has assured me there will be "quite a few" available that night.

Called DCW today and been told the pre-ordered K-1 will be arriving in their warehouse 05/05/2016

I just put in my pre order again, this time with DCW, $2799 and they told me I am 13th in line and the release date would be 29/04/2016 but it could change.

Hmm got a call from the camera store I tried pre-ordering and they told me the camera is shipping end of May, and will be in my hands "sometime in June', so I have cancelled the order, is this available date the same fore everyone? I might try ordering it direct from CRK to see if I can get it quicker.

Hmm it would seems that CRK has responded, I might just go to my local B&M camera store this weekend and see what sort of price they can work out for me. I am hoping to get some info on the body+grip kit option beforehand though.

I actually sent them an e-mail that day telling them I would like to pre-order, but at this price? Nah, I am not going to do it.
