First time shooting paid work with the Pentax 75 2.8 AL on my 67. Also first time using Ektar 100 for a paid session. I normally shoot Portra 400 but with it being winter I thought I would go with the Ektar. This lens continues to just blow my mind with it's sharpness...

First roll of CineStill 500T Film. Botched the whole whole, missed focus on every shot. Here is one at ISO 800 1/15 of a second. This film is crazy, you can shoot it from 200 ISO to 1200 ish without out having to push or pull it it, it just comes out. This was taken in my living room under one of the lights. Pretty happy with the WB for film indoors.

Thanks guys! My wife was out of town for a week in the Bahamas with her Grandma so I took the kiddos to Alamosa, Co. They have sand dunes and a gater farm. My hotel was $65 a night with free admission to their "water park" and a $10 voucher for breakfast at their restaurant. Had a sweet time with my 4 kiddos :)

I shut down my color one for the winter. I will probably start it up again in April for wedding season. I decided not to do the whole lab thing for other people. The wedding photography business has been doing well enough were I don't need the extra income. I started developing my own b&w's about three weeks ago and have really been enjoying that. The thing with the color film processor is I have to keep at least ten rolls through it a week, and winter is going of our down time. So not worth it to keep it up and running. I acquired a Noritsu scanner that runs off of 120v, which is epic because I can keep it at my house. So I have been doing a lot of scanning lately, trying to dial it in. Here is a tiff I scanned off a Mamiya RZ 67 Pro II with some Pro 400H.

I normally would not scan that high res, but just testing it out.
Yup, almost all my pics with kids, they have food on their faces :)

Thanks Kevin! My wife shoots weddings with me and she rocks. This gives me a little freedom to shoot with film. I am also awaiting for my film kung fu to kick in. KJon, I always enjoy your post, people, landscape, it's great to see a variety in what you do.
Cheers,
Trevor

KJon: Portra 400 is my favorite for flash!
I tried some Kodak 200 Gold the other night, it works but not as well as the 400. But at 1.60 a roll you can shoot your heart away with the gold.
Below shot with Gold.
