Yes! It was Looking Glass Photo. They are totally amped about the camera. A couple of their staff (one of whom bought the other K-1) stated they are planning to sell their Canon gear once they have their K-1. I just listed the B&H one for sale in the market place in case there are forum members who would otherwise experience a long delay in receiving one. If no one wants it, I will return it to B&H.

My B&H order has shipped and will arrive on Monday, 5/9. In the meantime, I found one at my local camera store. They have not carried Pentax for years so I really wanted to support them for doing so again. I will be returning the B&H one as soon as it arrives.

Just so you know. However long it takes to get it, you are going to love it. I was able to hold one at our local camera store today and it just felt so right in my hands. The screen really is sturdy. The menus appear to be a lot cleaner and easier on the eyes. I am feeling very very grateful to be able to own one.

Call them tomorrow. Mine was showing up like that earlier today, so I called customer service to ask whether I would receive one from the initial shipment or should expect to wait for a subsequent one. The rep. went into the system, snagged one for me and tagged it to go to the warehouse for shipping. Status change for my order appeared not long afterward.

B&H has sent mine to the warehouse for shipping today. For reference pre- order was done on 3/23/16. In the meantime I got to actually hold one that came in at my local camera store. All I can say is what a beautifully engineered camera. Great ergonomics, solid in the hands like the k-5/k-3 series bodies and just the right size. The salesperson bought one of the two that came in and the other was on hold for another customer. Their staff is really excited about the camera and several are planning to sell their Nikon/Canon gear and go with the K-1. I think Ricoh really did hit one out of the park with the K-1. Nikon is giving $300 off and a free Nikon grip with their FF bodies. Think the competition is getting a bit nervous?

It's just a camera for goodness sakes and we don't even know if it will live up to all its hype. Three days until B&H and Adorama reopen. Get out and go take pictures people. The camera doesn't make great photographs you (potentially) do. If you are out taking pictures with your perfectly capable cameras the time will pass more quickly.

I think they shipped the grip and lens early to keep folks from changing their minds about the pre-order during the wait. If you have them you are less likely to call the whole thing off:lol:
