Thanks Aurele !

One of my K5s, 2 x Contax Zeiss lenses, 1 Voigtlander, K50/1.2, Tokina 300/2.8, two more 300s and then assorted lenses from Tamron/Sigma and Pentax (total of 15 sold so far) ! Emptied my lens kitty too :(

I was ruthless. If I didn't use them that often (at least once a month) then they were sold.

Bought the Pentax k50/1.2 I had been debating with myself today ....... but I had a major LBA relapse in the camera mall and bought the FA77Ltd (silver, MIJ) I'd been eyeing (no box) as well. *sigh* I'm toast when the wife finds out !

Bought a Contax Zeiss 35-70 today. Now having the mount converted to PK and will pick it up next week ! Then we'll see if what they say about it being equal to a bunch of primes is true or urban myth ;)

Well I have been after one of these for a while and had returned one a while back as it obviously had some major fault (nothing was in focus !). However this time around the lens has arrived (from a seller with a less than stellar rating but from only a few reviews, so I took a chance) and it looks like a new lens, absolutely perfect, great build quality and gorgeous glass ! Paid US$320 but that's much better than the other one available with another dealer going for US$500 !

oh yeah, the lens is the Cosina 55mm f1.2.

One of my first shots on the way home from work today. Wide open, 6,400 I believe but that may be wrong I can't remember - too excited looking at the bokeh (which is what I bought it for) ! Absolutely no PP and this is just a 51kb file after uploading.

Looks a lovely little lense, acquired from the Marketplace here. Will give it a run-out tomorrow.

I think that is a matter of personal choice. Most macro lenses give ultra smooth bokehs - however the Zeiss bokeh is very distinctive, personally I love it, it has real character.

Not a fancy lense but for US$25 I'm not complaining.

Cosina make some interesting lenses ..... including Zeiss & Voigtlander !

Received the Cosina MF 28-70/4 in great condition, yesterday. Going to give it a try out later.

You can get those cyclist raincovers here (cover both you and the bag) for pennies - worth putting one in the bag ;)

Just bought a Voigtlander Colour Ultron 50/1.8 - loving this lense ! Super sharp / wonderful bokeh & colours.
