Ive worked at a few of those places from time to time,asked their engineers about
this,obviously wanting to minimize heavy metals in the enviroment is major issue
some new tech stuff thats come on line are secondary filters that do a great job.
If they're loaded up with a bunch of crud it will increase maintenance downtime,
reduce outflow to consumers etc, makes it hard on everybody.
Your PVC ideal sounds pretty cool,like that.

Community college here has bi-annual event that will dispose of different household
chemicals safely...leftover gasoline for lawnmower,unused paint so on.Remember
mailing that listed items that could be disposed of,dont recall photo chems. being on list.
Do know other cities do something of same,anyone done so?
