Very serene looking shot up there UV.
One of our toads here. Will be "digging" in shortly for winter.Vocalization is a faint "peep" with 2 or more males in congregation.
With A70-210/4 + green filter & LX + AF200s flash on 100 legacy B/W film.Pushed to EI 800.crop of about 60% of frame
Developed with 50% D-76 and 50% semi-expired E-6 first developer(not C41 stated in another post & pic)

Be an interesting shot, toads around here make little noise, something like a "peep"
not for females but to ward off a rival.Normally have to see 2 males in competition to hear.

Kinda hangin in limbo Dave,
Is that one of those slow, deep bass monotone type "You'll drown, you'll drown"
or quick, high pitched "knee deep, knee deep"
nice pic BTW

Pretty much feel same way, prefer integral or "built-in" overall.Have had durability issues
in past with rubber that Im the blame for.Use a takumar 100mm hood for tammy 52B
works great, travels same.Sleeves over lens reversed and off I go,wish life was that simple all the time.
Last week, after "adjustment" A35-105/3.5,LX @ 35mm FL. same cheap rubber hood.held off one thread
from seating, seems to do the trick. Not sure of metric threads pitch but cant be but 32 TPI(SAE)equiv' or smaller.

Might "take a swing" at that MC,for $5 anyway.Have'nt been through this thread
for bit,wish had seen sooner.
@Damian(A35-105/3.5),this is how it looks at 35mm FL on film, less on Dig.(cropped) sensor
but there is hint of shadow.Did find that if I dont tourqe completely seated
rubber perfoms better, apparently completely seating distorts cheap hood
in manner that causes.Being old, sort of "old fashioned" do kind of prefer
metal over rubber.I waited close to 30 years and actually bought A70-210/4
from shop here when owner sold A35-105/3.5 copy that was the "apple in my eye"
back in '80s.Have always been happy with 70-210,after having 35-105 for
couple months now,am continuing to be impressed with that little thing.
Had my A*300/4 out yesterday,(2nd shot) out of 22 pentax lens I have
might be sharpest wide open,in the arsennal, have M*,dont let it play outside
in inclement weather, but could be,might be,a wee hair sharper.

From what Ive seen on ebay, other vendors it seems that.Apeture coupling lever
was "sticky" when I bought it,got home just "flicked" it back/forth with fingers...viola!
Eric and Dave, anyone else that shoots that A35-105/3.5 have any suggestion for
a cheap hood? Bought a generic 28-135 rubber and it vignettes at 35mm.newbie
with this lens, though Ive known for long, long time whats capable of.
was just holding on for the ride with shot above, its all lens and ektar

A 70-210/4mac. & ZXm + kodak 200 gold f8 @ 1/250 (210mm)
resized scans from drug store
Seen this "gentelman of the air" a few times, he went a few miles out of his
way to apparently avoid some huge rafts of white pelicans in area,
I waved, he waved.... :) he is very professional in practice, alot of fun to watch.

Thats a beautiful image of dog, Denis. No slight agaisnt anyone else, just noticed first.
have had 70-210 27 years and you'll never here me say that I prefer it to something
that images like that A200/4. As Tom said, conveinence was, and is the factor.
Have that k200/2.5, putting "A" contacts on that thing....Oh my!:)
