Some of Amsterdam by night. The 10-20 was on the K-5 for most of a 4wk European holiday.

Nice image. But I think it looks better the right way around, and if you turn it back, my head won't hurt as much. BTW Nice part of the world, Bergen...

Beautiful color and composition as usual from you. Nice shot.
But one query. There seems to be a fair degree of image halo in the image. Is this a multi shot HDR where the images didn't align perfectly, or something else in PP..??

Putting the Sigma 10-20 and K-5 to good use on Norwegian holiday. The lens seldom leaves the camera (mostly to be replaced by DA35/2.4)
Both 20s, f4.5, ISO1600
Slight crop from 10mm.

Not the wide end of the lens at 19mm, but I just love the way this lens delivers every time it is on the camera...:) Oh, enjoy the view by the way |

While riding the Wheel of Excellence (smaller version of London Eye) and shot through window. Just love the wide end perspective and colors of this lens. Cape Town water front with city and Table Mountain in background |

Long weekend trip 100miles outside of Cape Town. Hot springs at resort in the middle of winter. 10-20mm "glued" to front of camera.
Dam at Clanwilliam (14mm); Hot Pool by night (110deg F) (10mm 30sec); Mom and our girls on rustic mountain pass (14mm)

I might be wrong, but I think the confusion is that the Pentax mount version of this lens does not feature the HSM (the f/4-5.6 version), but it is present in the Canon and Nikon mount versions. However, the default designation for the lens refers to the HSM feature. I double checked mine, and no HSM as I thought. The Sigma web site lists the lens as non-HSM in Pentax mount.
Presume the lens is optically the same.
The newer f/3.5 version features HSM in Pentax mount.
Cheers

No.2 is one of my favorites with the 10-20 lens. As you say, shooting into the sun was not easy, and this did get a little help in PP. Low Dynamic Range enhancement within easyHDR. The cloud was very bright with the backlight sun, but enough to take the worst off the sun. I agree with Jellewtrail that C-PL filter would not be best here.
Not even sure if C-PL would work because light not bouncing in this case, and C-PL not always best on UWA because of differences in subject polarized intensity over field of view.
Thanks also Jellewtrail; Ecaterin; and jgredline for kind words on No.1.

Some real great shots already posted.
I'm enjoying the Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6. Awesome lens at a good price. Wish I had bought it before last holidays... All these at 10mm end.
Cheers
