need help identifying mount

In what way? It seems to have all the right lumps and ridges to me, in the right places. No indexing fork, but that just means it's fairly new.

I'd say it's likely to be a semi-modern Nikon mount. It should mount on a modern Nikon camera, and meter properly if it's a decent one. May mount badly on a Pentax, but probably not in this case.
