Thanks Chris,
They were both from our hotel window last year.
I was trying to show that the 18-125 does not do a bad job, even in extreme situations, provided you make allowances for it. In this case I think it performs pretty well, particularly when you consider the 24mm EX DG is many times the price.

and this one is the Sigma 24mm .5 sec f4.5 iso 800. and the tripod.

There have been a few questions lately about what is a good travel lens. I post these to assist anyone who is grappling with this question.
This is taken with the 18-125 @18mm/ .3sec/ f4.5/ iso 800....and a tripod.
