Oh,
I returned to Pentax via the K-x (still very much OK - now usually used together with my 400 Takumar), and then the K-7 (a darling in good light), and the K-5 (simply amazing!), but wanted a FF camera, so the choice I settled for was a well used SFX, which can handle most modern lenses (not those with OIS, like my Sigma 120-400). As yet I've only tested a few of my lenses, and naturally all FAs works brilliantly, and the DA18-55 is OK, if you don't go to the widest settings, which also is true for the 10-24 Tamron. The DA21 is pretty bad (much like the kit lens at its wide end), while the DA40 is OK. With none of my longer lenses, like my Tamron 70-200/2.8, or the wife's DA50-135, I've had any issues ay all.
Have a few other lenses I have not tested, but on the average, all work well down to 20mm, if available (except the DA21).
Eventually found a supplier in France of rechangable 2CR5 (aka DL245) batteries, so that's what I use!
