Thanks Steve. Little did I know that many of these furry caterpillars are toxic if you touch them. I picked it up a couple of times to re-position it but luckily I didn't have any kind of reaction.

Hi Harri, thanks for the comment! The DFA 100mm macro is a full frame lens. However the HD 1.4x teleconverter is not.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, I don't recall seeing one with the yellow tufts like this, I assume they just sread out similar to a flower.

I pestered this caterpillar for some photos yesterday as he/it was crawling down my glider. It was moving down but I rotated a couple of the shots to view it better.
