A little pricey and large, but the 31mm is fantastic. You will enjoy it Deimos. Though I rather spring for a 2nd hand one and save some money. Afterall, its not exactly a collectors item and is widely available.

Very nice. May I ask if you used a round reflector? Not sure how that is going to surround the ball. And the cardboard mailer tube was used as a snoot I guess?
Been reading up on strobist but not had the time to experiment.

But the nikon 35mm f1.4 is much bigger and heavier no? That's my issue with f1.4 glass for dslrs

Hi I export my dngs to tiff in Lightroom, use PTgui to stitch, reimport the stitched tiff to Lightroom and then adjust the settings from there. Very simple process. Lovely shots you have there btw. Now I just need to do more portraits...

Which grads do you guys use? And on APS-C I think stacking a few filter rings would help attach a square filter holder to the FA 31mm limited.
EDIT: Not too sure if you guys meant ND or GND filters...

Like the first image but the 2nd has some purple fring. Just curious do you use any post processing software? Or even a Lightroom lens profile correction? Just got the 77mm recently but haven't had the time to go shooting with it.

Thanks for the insight ataunton. I love the DA* 55mm but the weight and FL makes it hard to bring along for a holiday. Looks like a silver FA31mm is coming my way in the future! Now to sell that DA35mm macro first...

Great shots here! I am tempted by a FA31mm but I am a litttle hesitant about the size and weight. I have a DA* 55mm and I find it heavy for taking on a daily walkaround. Can anyone with both lenses share if the FA31mm is smaller less unweildy than the DA* 55mm with hood? Thanks!
