Some nice shots there repaap, but they seem a little dark for my eyes. Was it the DA* 55mm?

Wow the motor spoilt again? I always wonder if it's something about the lens design that wears down the motor quickly. Looks like my plans for getting a 60-250mm for landscapes have to be shelved for now.
Nice shots btw!

Fantastic mark! I love the landscapes u take with the 60-250mm. I would love one... Pity the sdm though. I would have jumped on one long ago.

Nice pics but this should go into the DA limited club rather than the DA* club...

Wow. Aint it less than 6 months old? Makes me worry about how reliable the DA* series is. Haven't heard of this problem before though. May your lens be repaired quickly!

The bokeh seem to smooth out at F2 and above. Its busier below that. Try shooting from F2 and up?

Awesome shots Simon! You really remind me of why I got the DA*55mm. Pity that you are switching to FF soon. Selling all your Pentax gear I suppose?

Hmm how are you nailing action shots simon? I find that my week old DA* 55mm is really slow at AF. Do you use center point AF exclusively?

The DA*55mm seems to be a portrait lens. The FA43mm seems to be more multi purpose, thought their price differences seems rather minimal. How would the DA*55mm do as a multi purpose lens?

Damn. This thread is making it hard to decide between the FA 43mm and the DA*55mm. Great shots Tougefc!
