Thanks Des, I have only just got this lens and am experimenting , I don't do much wildlife or birds (it was bought for cricket) so I need alternatives for the winter months and it seems to work well at minimum focus of 1.4m

Spotted in my backyard and a bit of a challenge to AF focus through the twigs with the handheld Sigma 150 500 K3 but - this is where back button focusing helps as the sparrow hawk kept popping up its head in a gap
