Came home to an Amazon box on my doorstep that contained a Q7 two zoom kit and Toshiba FlashAir memory card. Delivered two days earlier than expected. That never happens!
I've got an early call tomorrow so I only had time to unbox and snap a couple of pix using each lens, view said photos on my Android phone, and post them on my FB page. The Q and FlashAir combo could shape up to be a perfect match; WiFi is really suited for a camera like this. I'm looking forward to using this combo at FYF Fest in a couple of weeks.

Nice!
I take my XA loaded with Tri-X everywhere, it sits in a pocket of my backpack very close to the MX-1 I also take everywhere. They are perfect companions to each other, IMO.
I'm hoping to find one of those Minolta's in excellent condition one day.

After a few discussions over the past couple of months with the good folk at Freestyle I realized that stocking up on Arista Premium was a good idea. After reading an account recently that indicated Arista and Kodak had reconciled and struck a deal I asked (again) about where the the situation stands today. Nothing has changed. Arista Premium 400 is discontinued and once the current supply is sold it will be gone. Full stop. So, with that in mind I sacrificed the remainder of my 2014 photography budget...

Looking for the smallest fixed lens "full frame" camera I could find with good optics and this is what I found after my usual OCD fueled research. The one I bought came with a flash that I really didn't want at first but the lens is only an f/2.8 so it might come in handy someday for a snapshot. On this site, seven paragraphs down, you'll find the start of a review from a 1979 issue of Modern Photography.
