Well the grip is nice anyway so you won’t regret getting it. Great for handholding portraits in vertical format and of course doubles battery life.

I have the K-1 and grip but see no difference using my lenses (don’t have the 28-105). I can’t imagine the grip does much since it weighs a lot less than a solid tripod.
