i had the K-5 and the KP is a major improvment versus the old one. I took thousand on photo with my KP on my trip to visit the western Canada and USA. AF is faster, visor is brigter, ergonomic for me is better, got the new 55-300 and it’s absolutly the fastest lense that Pentax have and work like a charm on the KP.

I move from K-5 to KP and found major improvement. I already took more than 1000 photos and a lot more keeper. The battery is no issue as I have 2 batteries and never empty one in a day. I am starting to understand Pixel shift, and will do a lot more when I get in Utah.

I decided to buy the KP instaed of going with the next K-3III. From K-5 to KP is a major improvement. WE have to understand the the Next K3 , will be probably close to $1200, KP fit perfectly well in the lineup.

Pentax should not try to compete with the other guy for sport at least professional .I hope you understand why!
