Canikosonic are releasing their new line up of lenses for their MILC FF cameras, (50s, 35s etc.) since Pentax do not have mirrorless at the moment ... Now it's Pentax's turn. They just want to be relevant, and hopefully continue keeping their base customers from leaving.

Are focus by wire mechanism applicable to Pentax lenses? Would it make a benefit?

Coolness! An update to the promised lens meat and a bone, I wish that was a 24mm WR Limited bone though. Best wishes to Pentax though with these and I hope these will be marketed early.
I am for one who think Pentax's strong suit is by producing small, lightweight and WR photographic tools.
