I had been looking at getting a macro lens for a while. Last week I was perusing e- bay and came across a Tamron SP AF 90 F2.8 Di that had only just been posted for the excellent BIN price of $245AU. I think I hit the Buy It Now button quicker than a seagull on a hot chip.It is in very good condition and only has 2 small marks on the front plastic.
Here is my first photo with it, taken with my K5. Appropriately it is a Hoya flower just starting to open. The buds are about 10mm across. |

Yesterday I got the chance to test my K5 with my Tamron SP 70-200 f2.8
All photos taken in AFC and continuous drive mode. Took over 300 photos and had zero OOF.
Larger images can be seen on my Zenfolio page

There doesn't seem to be many posts from members with the Tamron SP AF70-200 f2.8 Di LD. So I thought i should post another of mine from this excellent lens.
Captured late in the afternoon and very hard to get close to. |

Something different from my Tammy a couple of close focus shots. Unfortunately the photo of the dragonfly lost some of its sharpness when downsizing for the web.

I am really loving this lens. Very glad i got it, has proven to be every bit as good as the reviews stated.
If it was any sharper i could shave with it:lol:
