I live in Tokyo, but I dont agree that it's mostly Pentax here. It's the same as everywhere else, Canon + Nikon everywhere with a few Pentaxes. What might not be the same is that Pentax gear is absolutely no problem getting here. Walk into any camera shop and there will be a dedicated Pentax section with bodies, lenses, etc.
