I'm a year away from having a choice between the 150-450 and new FF, and it will probably be the lens. So until then I'll just have to make do.

Yes the birds seem to like the old airfield and it's borders.
I'm still trying to get my crow picture. For birds you see all the time, they are tough to photograph. I had him in my sites today. If I'd had a 150-450 I would have had him. By the time I got the manual focus on where he was, he was flying away.

The old air field is always a great place for a walk.... access from the Mew Lake Campground.
Lots of wild flowers on the borders...
Not much in terms of wildlife....but a bit...
many pictures of foxes, bears and wolves have been taken there, but, not today...
The highlight today is the riders turning up to ride the bike paths that start at the nearby Lakeof Two Rivers Store.
