Apple often is slow to catch up as this is a function of the image import function that is separate from Aperture. And Apple is often late to the party in these kinds of things. I'll give them a month or two.

I am using a K-1, my wife is using a K-5, same result.\\If the lens has a unique ID number, which it seems to and LR records it correctly, maybe I can assume this is a function of Apple Aperture no longer being supported, assuming that the exif is an ID number which is interpreted by the PP software. ExifExtreme doesn't give me anything either.
