Turn crop mode off in the settings. All Pentax lenses appear complete with vignetting, even vignetted images can give me 30 MP, depending on how I crop.

200mm is 200 mm no matter what you're shooting on. On a K-3 it's 300mm equivalent. On a K-1 it's 200mm equivalent, because these equivalents are based on 35mm. However, if you are used to shooting APS-c it's about the equivalent of a 135mm APS-c lens.

Just to chime in, I have not a single APS_c lens that gives me less than 20 MP cropped if you shoot in FF mode. Let me know what lens you plan to use and I'll run some tests for it if I have it. Even my DA 55-300 gives me close to 20-24 MP.

70mm, ƒ9 crops nicely to 24 MP.
