I was giving the Vivitar M135 ƒ2.8 a bit of work today on the K-1, because if you have old lenses you do that every now and then.
Waiting for the ball
Got it.
Bringing it back

Taken from this set up.
With the right set up 135 can be very useful, for small creatures. ---------- Post added 02-04-16 at 07:49 PM ----------
For sure he is...
In the top photo he's eyeballing a far away squirrel he deems as being encroaching on his domain, he is ready to go if that poor squirrel takes one more step closer to the feed station.

K-3 and Vivitar M 135mm ƒ 2.8
400 ISO, ƒ2.8, 1/2000s
I don't know why but this guy was running off all takers today. There was jumping an leaping and squaring off like a boxing match, he was the one left standing.
I was lying in the snow on my belly, half behind a tree... I think he was sizing me up considering taking a run at me.
He's got that "what you looking at?" expression.
Ask me how hard it is to get in focus exposures tracking a squirrel with a manual focus lens. If I was shooting film, these images would have cost me 2 rolls of 36 exposure film, for maybe 10 exposures in focus.
