Using that logic, many people might ask why you use a DSLR or other large sensor camera to take photos when most people are content using a cell phone or P&S.

No internal 4k, need external recorder, significantly adding to the minimum bulk and cost. Even with an external recorder, it can only do 8 bit out.
As far as 4k video is concerned, it doesn't really compete with the GH4 IMO. Interesting for stills IQ, though, if the low light and DR hype is to be believed.
